The Gowlings is one of the few remaining grand banking halls in Canada.

It was rescued from a derelict state and converted into the corporate headquarters for one of Canada's most prominent law firms.

Restoration of this historically protected building included an addition to the building, which houses two new elevators and stand-alone office spaces.

The City of Hamilton awarded the Urban Design and Architecture Award for Excellence for this project in 2005.

Our design focused on allowing space for movement while providing a heightened sense of security.

This project demonstrates our ability to manage consultation with many stakeholders, communicate effectively with the local and school communities, and shepherd a complex site plan approval through the City of Toronto.

Our approach to the limitations of the site required innovation in efficiency and space flexibility.

Call & Control Centre|Toronto Hydro|Toronto

This project for a new control centre for Toronto Hydro involved the construction of an addition to the existing call centre.

The project amalgamated existing control facilities relocated from the previous cities of Metropolitan Toronto and accommodated state-of-the-art control and communication systems within a 10 000 sq. ft. control room.
