The Gowlings is one of the few remaining grand banking halls in Canada. 

It was rescued from a derelict state and converted into the corporate headquarters for one of Canada's most prominent law firms.

Restoration of this historically protected building included an addition to the building, which houses two new elevators and stand-alone office spaces.

The City of Hamilton awarded the Urban Design and Architecture Award for Excellence for this project in 2005.

This project showcases our experience and thoughtful approach to architectural heritage and conservation.

The project required an addition/expansion implemented with
design excellence that also compliments surrounding and existing buildings.
